If you’re looking for a night on the town (or even several), Asheville, NC is where it’s at! From bustling downtown to West Asheville, Biltmore Village, and neighborhoods beyond, there is plenty to do from breakfast until last call.
We hope you enjoy our suggestions for an affordable yet great bachelorette party. And remember, these are just some suggestions. There’s so much more this little city has to offer. So, get out there and get exploring!
And, good luck with all the great things ahead.
The Drum Circle
It’s not just any drum circle. It’s THE drum circle. This sound explosion happens in downtown’s Pritchard Park every Friday night during the warmer months of the year. It’s free, and there’s plenty of dancing. Need we say more? Bring your own bongos, or just drop by and enjoy the best people watching Asheville has to offer.
Pro Tip: Check the calendar and weather reports.
Well-Played Board Game Cafe
Perhaps your bridal party is more the “Settlers of Catan” type? Maybe you’re into Exploding Kittens? Or, if you’re feeling a bit naughty, in the mood for Cards Against Humanity? Well-Played Board Game Cafe has it all—even Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots. And nothing goes better with board games than the cafe’s food and beer menu. With a convenient, downtown location, it will be a magical gathering.
Asheville Retrocade
If your bridesmaids are really gamer girls at heart, Asheville’s got them covered too. How about some old-school arcade games? If you have nostalgia for the stand-up consoles we used to shove quarters into, the Retrocade is your place. All games are unlimited play. You only pay a flat hourly rate. It’s also a bar and stays open really late in case you want to make your nightlife a little more engaging.
Asheville Pinball Museum
Maybe your group likes a more tactile approach to gaming. Then, go full tilt at the Asheville Pinball Museum. It’s been featured on a handful of travel television shows, so this popular little hangout fills up quickly. Once 80 people are inside, thwacking their little silver game balls, you have to be placed on the waiting list.
Pro Tip: Arrive early.
Save Me the Waltz
There’s no better atmosphere for a nightcap than the Jazz Age. Save Me the Waltz is Asheville’s Roaring 20s bar named after the book of the same title by Zelda Fitzgerald. This classy joint knows how to mix good cocktails. And the speakeasy atmosphere and live jazz will have your group doing the Charleston in no time.
Pro Tip: Plan ahead! Save Me the Waltz is closed for the season, but is scheduled to reopen March 1, 2020.
